Right 2013 is well underway and i thought it would be a good idea to finally post my first blog of the new year.
All things said and done the festive season was rather fun and although i never managed to do anything out of the ordinary, looking back, there isn't much to complain about. So i find myself looking toward 2013 with fresh eyes and wonderment as i convince myself that THIS is the year that i get it all together and everything starts to work and make sense in my chaotic life.
I decided that I would not be making any form of resolutions other than the fact that im winging it this year. I find that in previous years resolutions have just put an unnecessary pressure on me to achieve these goals and to feel a sense of doom when i realise that not one of those resolutions have ever been met. So im taking the pressure off and moving through this year with a freer mind. Whether this approach works or not is something i will just have to report on in roughly a years time.
There are many things ive wanted to do for sometime and i think if i embrace the idea of going with the flow this year decisions will hopefully be a little less hard and final.
I can however look back on 2012 and be thankful that i joined SG. I have made some interesting new friends from all over the place and it has shown me that im not the only person out there who looks at life differently to most.
Thank you to all of you who have made my SG experience so unique and special.
