Had a chat with Martin, who got me to buy the excellent Whitey album.For...

One of the events being staged for Red Nose Week at Royal Mail Salford Quays was a Managers vs Advisors football match.I probably wouldn't have bothered to watch, but having sat through a Team talk at which a veiled threat was made by the Management to ourselves, I decided to go.
The Managerial "team" were rather thin on the ground,so they...

Love Hotels
Whilst browsing though the excellent website www.japan-guide.com I came upon this priceless piece of advice concerning a particular type of Japanese "sleeping" accomodation-
"Love hotels
typically 6,000 to 12,000 Yen per room and overnight stay
Not meant as tourist lodgings, love hotels are visited by couples who wish to enjoy some undisturbed time together. Click here for more information"

I love to ski. And yes during the winter it's dark a lot around here. Notthe intire day.. we have some hours of light but it's a bit depressing indeed. Good for sleeping though. I have hard to sleep when it's bright. At least for long.
marloski:
are you headed to Japan?
