Man From Uranus

If you are a fan of childish band names, The Man From Uranus is a fine example.

His music sounds like bad seventies TV themes from the BBC Stereophonic workshop. You can get both of his CDs and a seven inch for a mere 10.

Nono...I want it colorful and nice and punk. That means the japanese furniture would have to live with pink candles, green rugs and fluffy things. lol.

No, really...That japanese themed stuff is much too expensive...maybe I'll just make a sofa or something myself.

1 Megabus

I met Caroline and Lesley in Manchester on Saturday 11 June (before the England vs Sweden game) at the lovely Chorton Street Bus Station in Manchester. I knew they were coming up on the Megabus, for which they paid the princely sum of 1 return from London to Manchester.

I arrived slightly late, but in time to see a big blue Megabus standing outside...

Womens Euopean Cup Football,Sweden vs England

On Saturday I trekked off with a few assorted ladies to watch England vs Sweden at Ewood Park, in Blackburn. Ewood Park is a very nice ground, shame about Blackburn. The game was played in front of a record(for a European womens game) crowd of 25,000 fans, who kept blowing on their horns and hollering throughout the game. The plaintive sound...

Some lesbians may well indeed be flexible, but I'd venture to suggest that a lesbian bar is still not the most fertile copping ground - unless you're a lesbian, which I'm pretty sure you aren't.

Frankly, had I been on Blackburn station confronted by that spectacle, I know who's side I would have been fighting on.

The shop sold jars of many types of pickled vegetables...

Ladytron,Manchester Academy,May 17th

I arrived at the Union in pretty knackered condition, having had a mere 3 hours sleep the previous night. My friend Flemo turned up a little later,in time to spot me nursing a cup of tea. We headed upstairs in time to hear the first bars of the Pipettes in Academy 2,who another mate of mine was supposed to be seeing but missed...
