County were once again a rather makeshift side;apart from Stewart Barlow, who is 36,the oldest player was 23.It was almost like watching a youth team.
The score was probably not a fair reflection of the game. County were actually in the lead until the final fifteen minutes, but after Doncaster drew level they carved through the shaky County defence with ease.
In an outburst of youthful exuberance,somewhere in the Cheadle Stand a small girl started screaming.Behind me, someone shouted "Its not that bad"
I also heard this chant for the first time-to the tune of the hymn "He's Got the Whole World In His Hands";
"He's got bird shit on his head, He's got bi-ird shit on his head etc"
