Goldfish Memory and a Mozart recital
Sunday before last, went to see an amusing Irish film called "Goldfish Memory". Set in Dublin, a fair summary of the film would be- A is seeing B-who is also seeing C,who is also seeing D,who gets back with A in between going out with F and C,probably at the same time.
This film has something for everyone, unless you are into copraphilia that is. There are a fair few chuckles to be had, mostly at the expense of the dirty old lecturers' (or lecherers')cliched and repetitive attempts to get off with his students.
The following week,I went to see a chamber music concert at the lovely RNCM in Manchester. Two of the pieces were from Mozart (string quartet in E and Horn Quintet in E),which I found pleasant but not very involving, and two much better and more dramatic works by the Bohemian Martinu(String Sextet in A) and Dvorzak(String Sextet in A). Bought MYSELF a very nice tie with musical scales all over it.
