Christmas and New Year
I spent at my mums, which was OK-watched TV(Shrek- animation good, plot cliched;Harry Potter and the Philosphers Stone-damn good;and of course,"You've Been Framed", which goes the full gamut from hilarious (especially any videos involving animals) to completely pointless filler.
My favourite Christmas presents were the two CDs my brother gave me;"Where Will You Be At Christmas?",an excellent collection of blues recorded between 1917 and 1939(there are also three European folk songs-Ukrainian,Italian and Portuguese). Even my MUM liked this CD.The other CD was Khonors' excellent "Handwriting",a wonderful mix of indie, folk, electronica and ethereal music.
And I got CASH of course.
Dinner at Christmas consisted of Leek and Parsnip bake. And very nice it was too.
On New Years Eve I did NOTHING.I had been asked to go to a club but couldn't be bothered ringing to reserve a ticket.New Years Day I was back at my mums, this time for Stonewallers Bake and "Animals Do the Funniest Things", which my mate Neil worked on at Granada.
And Stockport County won at Torquay,a great start to the year.
