Had a good fun weekend in Nottingham seeing a close friend, cheered me up quite a bit, saw a few surreal things 
witnessed a solitary cow walking across a bridge over the motorway, noone leading it.
then stopped by a roundabout where you would usually see empty bottles of cheap cider...in Nottingham no, they have empty bottles of Moet champagne!
haha then on the Saturday got taken for breakfast at a pancake house, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup sounds so wrong but tastes so right!
We went to Woolaton Hall, which is where they shot the outside shots of Wayne Manor in the Dark Knight Rises, was a let down there wasn't more Batman stuff inside but was still cool

and we also had the surreal moment of a plastic halloween skull rolling across the ground in front of us
Sunday was spent relaxing going for a roast dinner
the weekend was founded on silly drinks, like the Gummi Roy
On the monday I finally got around to seeing some friends and their sprog
all in all a good weekend
