Great Day it's a pretty sunny one....Woke up around 11 and paced around swiggin coffee...smokin butts...makin calls barefoot from the deck. TCB oh man my crib has become a den of chaos, entropy, subterfuge. Pushed all my piles back to the walls. I gotta get serious about the cleanup. My kitchen is a warzone. started silkscreening last night before loading the dishwasher or cleaning a week of crud from the sink traps....gennerated several empty beerbottles in the process. Now my messes are layered.
Had another heartwrenching Burning man dream last night repleate with graphic multiple partner sex scenes....endless parade of strange characters...creation of phenominal alein architecture...tribal camping and dining...and of course the hook that plants itself in the middle of every BM Dream of my last year.: I'm outside and it's glowing magnificent. I try to get in but am held up at the gate. When I finally enter it's over....a darkened gohst town. Pout. Gotta stay under The Man's radar this year so I can get back to the desert and cut my hair!!!
the Weekend....hungover I got in this basement and continued building the set for a local dance troupe's preformance. Bodies will writhe all over my machine...turning wheels and casting shadows....gonna be hawt
now I know machine's prrobly masculine and this should say machina, but I'm late for work and gotta keep truckin!!!
Sat night I went to a winter ball at the greek orthodox church. Food was great. Children were playing. beutiful women and fellas...Happy old folke. Middle aged men in suits doing these crazy dances. The dancing was amazing. I'm not Greek...but I love cultural events. There was a live band and these specific dances would start slow with a few people on the floor holding hands and doing gracefull, effortless 12 step shuffles left and right....more would join in till theres this huge spiral of people pulsing and swaying together...many of them hot as balls greek babes in party dresses and high heels....boing. Later they would kneel in circles on the dance floor while the fathers of each family did this jaunty lil jig with kicks and hands in the air...they'd set shots at their feet and dance around them...then drink them and if people relly liked the doods...or it was their birthday or sumthin..they'd throw fist fulkls of money at em. I went to one once where everybody got to breakin plates!!!! During one song a few guys were telling me..."This a Redneck song" the tried to tell me the plot...something about rebels killin turks.
From there I found myself a a tiny local haunt watching a band from out of town set up marshal stacks. RPG was their name. I sidled up to the bar right in front of them and twitched to an hour of the loudest...most blistering earshattering bone vibrating rock imaginable. The place was packed. Crowdsurfing. slam dancing. fist fights. I drank $100.
