LMAO. I got in a screaming match with my MIL Wednesday night over my kids haircut. (Tell me that's not stupid.) She actually told him she hated his hair! He came upstairs crying. It took me 15 mins the next morning to get him to style his hair the way he liked bc he said the kids were going to laugh at him and Grandma didn't like it. She even called my Dad & Step-Mom and got pissed when they wouldn't take her side and hung up on them. OMFG!

BUT, the next morning...I went downstairs (bc I HAD to) to get my kids juice and vitamins he has every morning and she was sweetness and light. She's been way too nice ever since. She's even talking to me about getting our son a big stupid puppy. I think she over-heard me Wednesday night when I said to my HB "We're just an incestual brother & sister who live with Mommy & Daddy".

I have NEVER given her any sass or talked back but Oh My Damn, there is only so much a person can take. *sigh*

Ah well. I'm making plans w/ my buddy to get a group and go to a haunted inn around Halloween. Talk to ya' all later.

You would think that now-a-days people wouldn't make a fuss about a punk haircut. Even on kids you see it quite often. Reminds me of my first visit to PA where I now reside. I got off the turnpike and needed to know where a certain street was. I was still in a punk band and sporting about a 2" mohawk at the time. I stopped at a roadside car dealership to ask where the street was. Two guys were talking and I approached. They BOTh turned there back on me as they asked me what I wanted. They did tell me where the street was but never looked back around at me the whole time...WTF is that?? Whatever, I was kind of amused but also would have liked to kick them in the neck *wink*

I think your sons hair looks very fucking cool btw...
