You would think that now-a-days people wouldn't make a fuss about a punk haircut. Even on kids you see it quite often. Reminds me of my first visit to PA where I now reside. I got off the turnpike and needed to know where a certain street was. I was still in a punk band and sporting about a 2" mohawk at the time. I stopped at a roadside car dealership to ask where the street was. Two guys were talking and I approached. They BOTh turned there back on me as they asked me what I wanted. They did tell me where the street was but never looked back around at me the whole time...WTF is that?? Whatever, I was kind of amused but also would have liked to kick them in the neck *wink*

Kind of amazing how such a little thing can sometimes mean so much. Memories are so powerful, especially when they are all we have to hold on to.

As for the bike, there are shots of it in one of my pics folders or you can take a look at it in Leela's debut set. It's the green flamed beast. Once upon a time it started off life as a 1200 Sportster, but there isn't much of the original bike left. Stock parts: frame, sheet metal, left and right motor cases, 4th and 5th gear... that's about it.

After the Blast, if you're interested in Harley-esque cruiser style bikes, you might want to look into Ridley. My sister is 5'1" and had the same trouble you've run into with most bikes being too tall. For her, it came down to something custom and uber-expensive or the Ridley and she's more than happy with her decision. Her husband, who's 6' and 200lbs, even rides it sometimes... when he isn't on his Kendall Johnson built custom trying to catch up to me!
