So I FINALLY get my shoes today, the ones I have been waiting for 4 like 3 months. SO EXCITED. Than I get in the car and notice that on one of the shoes the ribbon is WAY too short. Like they just ran out of ribbon and were like *oh well, just some poor bastard will get fucked up shoes* so I take them back and of course there are no more in my size etc at ANY of the local stores. Not even Seattle. And by now I'm so in love with these shoes that I HAVE to have them. SO what do I do? I bitch and get like 11 bucks back for them *they cost like 33* and than I take them to the fabric store, buy some matching ribbon, fabric glue and stitch more ribbon on and vwalah! You can't even tell. hehehe. I can amaze myself sometimes at how cclever I can be at going the cheap route to fix things. I do the same thing at home. Buy fabric for a table cover instead of buying one, shets for curtians and just cut a slit in the seam etc. What can I say, I'm just a bargain woman. Anywho, gonna go shoot some pool in my new shoes and black and white rockabilly dress...yeah for me! I'll take pics someday and show yuo the awesome shoes. Just have to find money to get a new digicam is all....nighty night all!
