There are lines I cannot cross, working in commercial art. Sometimes I can be myself. But the majority of the time, that's off limits. The last few times I offered up some more personal artwork or blogged my thoughts on corporate America, I managed to scare people away.
And that's fine. It's just work. People come and go, yada yada. You can fucking talk to me all you want about being true to yourself and all that. I already know this. I have been doing the self-introspection of my life, business, art, etc for years. I don't care.
I have other places to be completely stupid or offensive. Whatever social mores, standards, or lifestyle issues there may be, I'm happy to rant about them on Utterli. I do connect this link to my other business sites but WTF ever. I don't use this as often as I'd like but I'm trying to.. plus its so easy and fun!
