so we had a yard sale this past weekend and made over $2300. not bad eh? we are getting rid of lots of our stuff...i don't want to move it. we have to start painting the pad, it needs it bad. i hate (house) painting. i put ALL of my (art?) with our junk and almost sold out! best feeling ever. had lots of interest in the punkbots but no takers...it was a garage sale after all. 
the Smash sold another giraffe though. everything i had under $100 went quick. we will be doing another blowout of dufstuff when we get the new place. Smash and i are off to Santa Fe June 2nd to do some SERIOUS HOUSE HUNTING. but we are still waiting for final approvals for both loans we want. big time stress, but the duf abides. a little getaway for us will be nice... i'm thinkin room service.

I should sale some shit too... instead I have been pitching and donating.
and yeah, we have a lot and a half.... it's nice. Our yard is bigger than most in the neighborhood... but I grew up on 17 acres, surrounded by empty land... so this seems kinda small to me. and then esp. compared to my sister's 120 acres... she's paying for it tho lol
we are planning on fencing in the backyard here pretty soon... at that point, I might wish that it wasn't as big as it is LOL
But I want more privacy and the convenience of letting our dog have the run of the backyard.
good luck with the loans and all that... I know how stressful it can be, we are going thru that right now too. finally getting a mortgage and buying this place, instead of renting.
