the local newspaper sent a journalist to inteview me about my art? last week. they did a full page story complete with a couple of pics of the giraffes and me welding. it came out yesterday and i feel flattered big time. its a very nice piece. the last time i made the paper, it was about the worst meltdown of my life. it involved tequilla, valium, vicodin, my gun, my son, and 3 police officers. it was a scathing report about my arrest. that was hands down the worse day of my life, worse than being a junkie...this fuckup involved my son. (its kinda funny this is coming out exactly one year later) maybe someone is trying to tell me something? i am hoping this article will help my rep in the little town i call home. people have started asking if i'm selling my art, or am i doing any shows etc. dufsmash productions is up and running. this could be cool maybe? i relate doing art to being on stage...you get up there and hope people don't throw stuff at ya. i'm making art i like and hope others like it too. so far so good. as for my rep?
