Yeooowllll!!! The boy and I had a swell time at the NIN show. We had great seats ( by the soundman ) Trent and Co. played everything I was hoping to hear...old and new. The highlight for me was "Hurt" I really dig that song and dude did a killer version of it. They smashed up a bunch of guitars in the end and we left smiling. Sondawg said it was the best show he's ever seen. 
Afterwards we did what you are SUPPOSSED TO DO at the hotel... sleep. 
All the mirrors, lamps, glassware and the TV were fine when we left the next morning. Happy, happy, me and Z.
So today a Fed X package arrived with my name on it. I'm thinkin, WTF? Smash tells me its an early Bday present. In the envelope were Cubbies tix for a game with the Dodgers in September. We've been going every year since moving here, but I did'nt think we were gonna make a game this season. $$$ is kinda tight lately. I'm soooo stoked. Cubbies RULE even if they suck...and they suck big time this year. Turns out the game is Sept. 12... and I already have tix to see Rancid at the House of Blues on the 12th
Now I'm thinking FUGGITT...That Tuesday is gonna be a fun night. We're going to both!! 
We'll probably split the LOVABLE LOSERS game during the seventh inning stretch, and book it to HOB where we will arrive just in time to see my favorite Cali Punx. Happy, Happy, Happy B day to me! Baseball and Punk Rock... FUCKIN RIGHT!
Confession for today: I said "Git er done" with a straight face. I did'nt realize I was speaking hillbillie hick until I heard Smash giggle.
