just got home from my welding class, once again I spent half my time dealing with the gear. evrything is FUCKED UP 
as long as I remind myself it's just a class and I'm there to learn stuff, I'm ok. the up side is I know how to fix a bunch of gear problems in the future if I must. this giraffe is taking me forever to finish. the class is only once a week and at the rate I'm going, I might have to get one of my kids to finish her. today, however my sweetie said it would be alright if I take a grand from the sacred nest egg and bought my own welding gear!! I love that chick 
I will be crankin out junk art in no time flat. I'm soooo stoked.
we bought 3 day passes for Lollapalooza this summer. kids under 10 are free. the fam is gonna ROCK. got rooms accross the street from Grant park so we can walk to the shows, go to the Art Institute and eat, drink and be merry Chicago style. Man, I love that town. gotta say today was a good day, and now a kittie

just for fun; the hands & feet were rusted out of size wrenches, the main body and head is a chopped reversed angled adjustable that was also trashed, the legs and arms are curved sections of a steel bar stool, the tail is a section of a Croquet hoop.
