We took our class final in Intermediate on Thursday; I got the highest score in the class, which was pretty sweet. State certification written is next Tuesday, and it's going to be a beast, but I'm not too worried. After passing that, I'll be good to go as far as being an EMT-I.

I found out some other cool stuff in talking to my Instructor on Thursday, too. I asked what kind of stuff I ought to be thinking about, as far as applying to their paramedic program. They're starting up a paramedic program, and I figured, since I've done Basic and Intermediate through the same people, and have had a good time with them, I'd just finish it all off. I was told that I'm all but accepted.

So, I get to bust my ass and study up on the paramedic pharmacology, interventions, assessments, interpreting cardiac rhythms, all that good stuff. I also just need to make sure to get some good field experience, but it's not going to be that hard. I think with the stuff that I've learned, and with recommends from my instructors, getting onto a good ambulance service should be easy enough.

I'd also just like to say, if you haven't met tez, you really ought to go leave her a message and introduce yourself. She's one cool girlie. Hella beautiful, too.
