I just noticed the fullsize option on pics is functional now; sort of. Rather than something similar to the old pop-out viewer it shows a set of pics in a blog format. So far the few sets I've looked at have been full sized, or at least not obviously compressed.
That's my biggest issue with the new setup: in any of the other viewers, the photo size can't be adjusted or seen in the uploaded size. Since uploaded pics are usually bigger than how they're show in the viewer, the pixel quality goes straight the fuck downhill.
But now we have the full-sized option! Except that in order to use that we have to scroll through the whole set with no thumbnail gallery. I dunno, maybe I'm nitpicking here. But it's frustrating to see something that was perfectly functional and working get replaced with multiple sub-par things. If this change had happened two months ago I might very well not have renewed.
