Christ on crutches, it's been a while since I updated here @.@
So two weeks ago, mom and I got a new dog
I found him online through a Border Collie rescue located in Gilroy (about three hrs away). He's a Border Collie mixed with a Corgi (and maybe a Sheltie), and is ADORABLE. BEHOLD THE MELTING CUTENESS:
His name is Oreo
He's also an escape artist and one hell of a jumper X_x He was in a pound before he was rescued, so he's got some quirks that need work, like growling and barking at strangers and biting me >.> He gets aggressive with me around my mom and tries to bite me :\ We're working on that though.
Mom left yesterday for a four day trip to LA to visit family and friends, so I have the run of the place WOOOO
In a little while, I'm going kitten hunting with a friend. She offered to get me a kitten for my birthday :3 So we're gonna go around town today and see what we can find. I'm vaguely hesitant to get one right this moment 'cause I have a lot going on this month and in August, but at least we'll get to see today what's out there. It's been a loooong time (ten yrs) since I've adopted a cat, so we'll see.
Tuesday, I turn 25 Kinda exciting, kinda weird. I never thought I'd make it to 18, nevermind 25, and I almost didn't make it to 25 X_x Sooo it feels kinda good :3 A few friends from school will be coming up next Saturday, and we're gonna go see Inception, eat lots of tasty things (pizza, Red Velvet cupcakes, and ice cream), and either go to the roller rink, or bowling and the arcade up at the Casino. Someone is bringing their Wii, too Gonna be AWESOME
And last but not least, I've made my first sale on Etsy! WOO! I've also been invited to share a booth with some girls at the local exotic bird faire at the end of August X3 I'll be ordering some nifty supplies soon, and I have a friend making pendants so I can make some awesome pieces Will also be trying to sell some paintings there
