The lovely @melyse nominated me to share a few facts about myself, so let's see how it goes!
1. I have a big dent in my chest.
When I was born, I came out with a bunch of my own poo in my lungs. Reading that sentence back made me laugh 😅 Anyway, I came out, my dad was taking photos, and apparently the doctors urged him to stop and rushed me away without saying anything. From what I've been told, I was technically dead for a minute, and the whole thing caused my chest to collapse so now I'm left with a big ol' dent right in the middle. It makes for a good cup holder when I'm sitting down though.
2. I have webbed toes.
I hit the jackpot with the weird deformities in my family, I tell ya. It isn't all of my toes, but my 2nd and 3rd toes on my let foot are webbed almost all the way to the end. The funniest part is that they have one big crease on the underside where they bend together 😅
3. I used to be in a hardcore band.
In my last couple years of high school, I played drums in a hardcore band. We were called Classic Horror Ending (we literally picked that name out of a hat). It was so much fun playing shows at the same venue every weekend, usually with the same local bands, one of whose lyrics I have tattooed on my ribs. We won our high school's battle of the bands and used some of the money to record a short album, which I think we sold maybe 3 of. Our biggest show was opening for Remembering Never (who was playing when I got my nose broken years earlier) and Bury Your Dead, who was one of our favorite bands at the time and I still listen to often. 4. I hate the cold.
Being a native Coloradan, this is a bit of an issue. Especially in recent years, winter here has come with less snow, and more cold. We've had days that were really sunny but like -10F, which is way too cold for me. I get cold very easily and stay cold. I would much rather it be 80+ degrees, which happens easily in the summer here. As much as I hate the cold, I can't see myself moving away from Colorado ever.
5. I love hockey.
I've always known I liked hockey, but only within the past few years have I really gotten into it. Doesn't matter who's playing, if it's on TV, I'll watch it. I'll always root for the Colorado Avalanche over anyone else, and they just keep getting better after being the worst team in the NHL just a few years ago. I'm catching up on the highlights from all of last night's games as I type this haha.
