Heh, now this is messed up. Got a friend from Canada who met this girl that lives in Australia. They hit it off over the internet and he went to Australia with the thinking that the girl "loved" him enough to want him to stay. He was planning on staying but seems like the girl just saw him as a novelty, you know "Oooh I get a boy from thousands of miles away to come and see me." and she just saw it as a new distraction. Time goes by and she just loses interest in him like a pet you get and are all excited about but then lose interest. Well the guy goes back to Canada, with nothing to really go back to.
The only reason I care about this is that I basically got fucked over the same way, I didnt go to Australia but brought the girl down here, by a girl. They never seem to realize what fucking with a man's feelings does to us. They seem to have the thinking that "Oh, they are big and strong, they wont mind"
