Enough about Star Trek, here's a new post.
My birthday is officially in less than a month now. (June 14, for those of you keeping score.)
I'm not sure what I want to do for it.
Obviously I want to do something fun, because fun is awesome, but there are a few limiting factors:
1. Money. Both Jhay and I are completely broke, and any money that we magically came across would have to go to the moving fund, because moving 700 miles takes up the duckets.
2. I hate to say it, but I don't have too terribly many real life friends in Michigan. Those friends I do have I made from this site. (You all know who you are!)
The SG Detroiters group are rumoring that there is going to be some sort of shindig that weekend, (It's not specifically about me, but I'm going to MAKE it about me dammit!) but if that for some reason falls through, I think maybe we'll head out to one of the MetroPark beaches around here and have a picnic or something. Would anybody be up for that? Out of towners, if you come hang for my bday you have a place to sleep.
You can always buy me presents, but that's not the same as hang time.
Also, my set comes out in MR on Memorial Day (May 25). I've been waiting for like 2 months. Grrr. So hopefully that turns out well.
Ok, maybe I'll post something more interesting later. What should I write about? Tell me.
Edited to add: pomfelo remembered that I have a wishlist for Victoria's Secret. But they require an email address for that, like people that would be buying me lingerie know me well enough to be emailed. So if you want that, PM me your email addy.
I promise to post pictures of any pressies I get. Everybody wins!
