Went and saw Perks of Being a Wallflower last night with a group of peoples. The gal that arranged it had pretty much been waiting for this movie to get made for about 10 years. She even wrote a script/treatment for it in H.S. that she had wanted us in drama to film. I think I was cast as Patrick. Which is odd, since that's my name. I would have been pretty OK with it except for the Rocky Horror scenes.
Not to fond of my bod, even more so then...
It was pretty good. Somehow they got Logan Lerman to look younger than he did in Gamer, and that came out, three years ago? Emma Watson was good but her accent kept slipping through at times. And Ezra Miller, who I really liked in Beware the Gonzo, did better than I could have in that character, lol.
Can't wait for the rest of this month. Planet Fitness should open up some time this week so I can finally get my proper exercise on. And we splurged for Black Card Membership so we get additional massage chair sessions and hydro message and tanning and red light therapy and haircuts. Don't think that last one will help me much. "Just a little off the top!" But constructions set it back a few weeks still...meh. Should be fun.
Going to see hopefully 4 concerts at the state fair this year. The Wife and I are trying for Weezer, Jayne's Addiction, KoRn, and Sublime with Rome. Must remember to bring a lighter with me this year to Sublime.
It has been a little odd that I've been able to do so much lately. Being an introvert of sorts it really is hard for me to like being around people. But that is the the problem as well. I fucking hate people but I love groups of people/gatherings. I like blend into the crowd and disappear. Just another in a vast sea of weird. I think this is why I really really like going to conventions and such. Part of a culture without having to stand out if you don't really want to. I dunno, my brain makes it hard sometimes.
