Today is Lily's 4th birthday. Amazing how time flies. We've already done her birthday cake and present since she was born after 1pm.
And now I have commenced all the packing!! Putting things in boxes that we're not going to need. My biggest goal is to get the kitchen packed up today. I'm trying to keep cooking down to a minimum.
Last night, after 9:30, one of Nalia's friends came knocking on the door asking for a cake pan. I lied and said it was in a box. I told her a lot of things were in boxes because we're moving in a week. She was like "Well can't you go get it?" I was getting irritated. "No, I can't go get it. It's in a box. I'm not fishing it out for you." This kid is like around 6 yrs old. WTF is she doing out at almost 10pm asking for goddamn cake pans. Where the fuck are her parents??
I will be so happy to be leaving this place. Our new neighborhood looks to be very quiet. John and I surveyed the area yesterday because we wanted to see the kids' new school. Logan and Nalia are a bit sad that they are leaving their friends but they are eager to be making new friends.
I just want it to be the 28th already. Is it the 28th yet?
