We all know how much I love piercings *swoon*. Anyways-I had to go to the dentist today so I had to take out all of my oral piercings. After my appointment is done, I put my piercings back in when we got to the car. However, I was having problems with my newest lip piercing. I couldn't get it to go in. I, of course, start freaking out because I'm thinking the hole has closed (my piercing is way past it's healing prime).

When we got home, I had John try to put the piercing back in. He tried for half an hour. He ended up tearing some tissue on the inside trying to get it through and I bled a little.

At this point, I said "Fuck it. Give me a needle. I'm going to repierce it." Yes, I am that dedicated.

John gets a needle (small sewing one) and sterilizes it. I slowly thread the needle through. Next thing I know, it reaches the other side, no fuss. The piercer had pierced it at an angle. So John used the sewing needle to guide the jewelry through. Viola, piercing in. As a result, my lip is a bit bruised from all the forced pushing.

Advice: Thread a sterilized needle through the hole first to check the path way. It'll save you lots of pain (unless the hole actually did close-then just take a deep breath and don't scream).
