so i got myself a new winter coat. it's an air force issue parka in navy blue; think a bomber jacket that's 3/4 length and has a (synthetic) fur trim hood. i'm pretty excited about it because it's hella warm without being bulky, and it looks good!
well, this year has gone by fast. i feel like it was just yesterday that i was freezing in the summer from my old roommate cranking the air conditioning. now it's cold for real. chicago winters can be pretty brutal, although i'd say we've had it pretty easy these past few years. every winter i ask myself why i stay here... i must really love this city that f'n much.
