It's been a rough week. I ended up back in the hospital on Monday...just when I thought things were on the up and up. A few complications from surgery. Turns out I had an infection festering inside of me. No worries though. Doc's were able to cut a portion of the infection out and place a drain in my stomach to drain the rest. So two more holes in my stomach. The spot the had to cut open is pretty gnarly and nasty looking (I was awake for that one...no fun). Good thing is I'm back "home" and feeling better. Finally/hopefully starting to get a grasp on this diabetes thing. Add in taking care of this wound and drain, and it's pretty much a full time job just trying to take care of myself. I'll make it though.
