I hope you enjoy your discovery of all what tool has to offer. I didnt start to truly appreciate tool til i was older i guess around 26ish. the more i listened the more i became aware. the more i researched the more i came to appreciate. all four of them are very talented individuals that bring their own personalities together to form one. And maynard to me is a lyrical genius. I like to think of tool as a good piece of literature for every layer you peel back a new discovery is found. no matter how many times you listen theres always something new. to appreciate tool a little more read up a little on C.G. Jung especially for the album AEnema.

if they can make a movie about daredevil and ghost rider, they can sure as hell make a movie for blood and chocolate. regardless of plot, it will still draw people to the theatre. not me though, i'll wait for the dvd!

yes you are correct. The eye sawblade, is from the Lateralus album which was designed by an amazing artist Alex Grey. It represents the foundation of our being, prior to our physical reality, as emptiness and awareness. The album Lateralus was truly a life changing experience for me and an album I will always hold dear to my heart. Now, The symbol within the sawblade represents a theory by C.G. Jung 'collective unconscious" basically meaning we are all one mind at our deepest level. The symbol actually is the logo for ToolArmy, Tool's official fan website "the collective unconscious, but thats not why i used it. I used it because that was the only way i could express Jung's theory in physical form. Plus the sawblade represents our foundation and within that foundation we are all one. that might have been more that you cared to know. but oh well, thats the story behind the ink.

p.s. I noticed something with your apc/dna helix tattoo. I have always thought of APC's music/sound as very organic. Mixing the APC logo with the DNA helix is an awesome representation of that. Dont know if that was one of your intentions but just an observation on my part. Anyays hope ya have a grrrreat day and enjoy your jerky cake

So I got rejected from SG, even though I saw a couple hella ugly ones get accepted in the past. Whatever. I'm just a *tad* bitter. *Le sigh*. Dunno whether I'm going to try again, but i doubt it. I wish I could be free at home. My family is such a dissapointment sometimes when it comes to feeling like I can express myself. They don't treat me my age. To them, I am a large 13 year old.
