This morning I went to the bookstore to get the latest edition of the Lonely Planet's shoestring guide to Southeast Asia. The idea of living by myself for months on end in an unfamiliar land surrounded by jungle and beach and people who have little in common with me sounds very appealing.

I spoke about this with a very lovely lady in her late twenties working at the register. She told me that she wanted to travel across Europe and India when she was younger but she became more and more burdened with responsibilities and now she can't even imagine going.

This got me thinking that time is crucial and I should get the hell outta here ASAP. The logistics of it just don't work though. Now i'm trying to mentally schedule everything but I'm tired of thinking so I just treated myself to membership to this fine community. Boobies are a de-stressor.

Another thing worrying me is how will I be able to identify the thai transvestite prostitutes trying to seduce me. Apparently they can be really beautiful. I wonder if there are any tell-tale signs I can look for so that I don't get confused .
