Write what you know, that's what I've been told, that's what the word is. I recently was urged to write about public transportation and I thought it was the most boring idea ever but on second thought I became aware that public transportation is just a setting like everything else and one could do whatever they wanted with it.
True Story: When I was between 17-20 years old I used to meet girls on public transportation more than anybody I knew; it was somehow the place I looked best or seemed most interesting. What came out of it? A few girlfriends who all in one way or another shaped who I am today.
Cheers to them, I hope they're all doing well and living the life they dreamed of having.
So why not public transportation? Shit, that movie Speed took place on bus, that grossed millions of $$$
