Last night there was a 7 hour noise/music concert on campus (which I engineered for). My friend did a lovely power electronics performance complete with the requisite screaming into a microphone over and over. The best part, though, was a guy who sat not 3 feet away from his amplifier who continued to type away at his laptop as though there was nothing at all out of the ordinary going on.
