Feeling....creative...

Everything we thought once was
is just a shadow of what will never be
a clipping or a gleam of possession
of a lost moment
disfigured and not permanent
Slithering like a serpent
between the bedsheets
of infinite and nothingness
It gesticulates it's seething remarks
with the prongs of it's forked tongue
soothing and sweet
like the candy of deceit
silky and determined
taking the ground from beneath our feet


A transmuted being
of elegant perfection
and grotesque beauty
belated on the surface
but fixed upon the precise moment
meltdown


I feel something, but I don't know how to express it. Something that the music makes me feel. While that may sound cliche, it's true. Not exactly down or depressed in anyway. Just dark and broody. I sort of like it. Makes me feel creative. As much as I tend to call emotions a waste of energy and only act to get in the way of things, they provide those things that I most enjoy (funny how enjoyment is an emotion as well). Expression feels good even if I don't really know what I'm trying to express. Creating art is like being God, in the sense that it may have created this protrait that is all the cosmos and an artist creates his/her own universe with in the art, be it painting, writing, music, even science (though that is more along the lines of expressing this "God"'s art). Philosophy is an art too, but one that is hard to explain and at this moment I doubt I could form a sufficient argument as proof. Will anyone read these meaningless ramblings of mine? I wonder...Vanity is a funny thing because most won't admit of their own vanity and even if they do it's generally for the sake of "copping out", if that makes any sense. More to come...
