I dove into school headfirst again so anxious to finish. Projects, stories, homework even snow have had me submerged wondering where time is disappearing so fast. I love it and hate it. I can't wait to finish yet know I will miss it when its over. But all work and no play is not how I roll. Its been a while, but I am back and are enjoying this visit however brief.
Despite, my seemingly constant stream of activities, I have not forgotten my resolution. For those who forgot, doubted or simply don't know, I have committed myself to creating 100 poems about 100 SGs before the end of the year. I wont share them all until I finish, but I will post some as I progress. I will also send the pieces via message to the subjects of each one for input in case they don't follow my humble musings regularly. Admittedly, I have gotten of to a slow start. Its the middle of February and only three have magically appeared in my notebook so far. But I am not worried ...yet.

floored
In love with two green, blue mysteries
flawless jewels under long delicate lashes
priceless treasures
endless pleasure
from just looking
closer, longer,
linger

Above the freckles on her nose
not flaws
Hints of what lies elsewhere
Dare to connect the dots
on her nose
near her toes
above her elbows
Follow the bread crumbs
the love bites
the endless trail of beauty
that winds over her long,
languid, luscious, light- skinned
body

Pierced, studded, looped,
tattooed
Talented beauty that creates beauty
nimble knitting fingers
creating softness, warmth,
Love in myriad colors
wrapped around or
stylishly draped
creative
bright
stunning
just like her eyes
