There was just an accident at the corner of my street. There was a loud bang, I went outside to see what happened. There is a car with the front right half smashed. there was another car with three girls who stopped to help the driver. They called the Police and rescue when they seen the woman was bleeding; The driver (who was drunk without a doubt) told them they should not have called the police because they had something to drink. The engine was smoking and crushed but that did not stop the driver from trying to drive away. The police showed up and asked her if she had anything to drink because he has the impression that they were drinking. The driver said no just one drink. The policeman asked her what did they hit? the driver said I don't know, there was something small in the road. Well the Driver drove into a telephone pole! Another policeman showed up and looked at the pole and got really big eyed 
when she continued to say she only hit a small object in the road and wanted to drive home about 25 miles away. It still wonders me sometimes about people that know they have to drive a long way home and regardless drink! I'm just happy there was't anybody but the driver that got hurt! If it was up to me they would go to jail for atleast six months or two years house arrest and never be aloud to drive again. I (unfortunately like most people) Have lost friends to a drunk driver. I ussually don't drink when I go out because I ussually drive, unless I'm going somewhere I can walk home from. I too have been out and din't plan on drinking and for some reason ended up choosing to drink, OK I got drunk, But I sure as hell was not going to drive so I slept in my car all night long. I have no mercy for drunk/stoned drivers!!! I do feel bad for them, because they must not have any respect for themself or others. If any of you don't agree with me that your rite and I don't care! I have seen the results of families lost because of a drunk ASS, and I had to clean up all the remaining pieces with the Fire Department. All I can say is "NO FUCKING MERCY FOR THOSE FREAKING ASS'S"

wow...that's so wierd b/c that same day, i had just arrived in alameda when my bf told me that on the way to pick me up at the bus stop, he heard a car crash 'n' when we'd gotten to our friend's house, they'd told us that they actually saw it happen...they heard the squeal 'n' then notta crunch, but a definite impact 'n' they saw a lady get tossed in the air 'n' land on her face, complainin' about her legs hurting...they didn't stick around, but by the time they'd left, there were 3 police cars 'n' an ambulance...i dunno about the status of the driver, though...didn't find out that much info...wierd, though...
