Shit, why did I hit New Post? I don't really have anything to say.
My only friend here in Seattle attends a Lutheran church where he volunteers his Saturdays doing grounds work. I tagged along yesterday and we worked our asses off. Apparently next Saturday there's an announced parish-wide clean up day, where Nate's hoping to get some other parishoners to help haul away the fuckload of yard waste we piled up yesterday. But Nate told me this is the third year he's held this sort of day and out of 500 families in the parish about three people show up. That's pitiful. I don't even go to this church. Bugger me, I'm not even Christian.

An issue of mine with Christianity: There's only two keys to going to heaven. Avoid the major sins like rape and murder and believe Christ is the son of God. Do you know what kind of asshole you get to be if you just hold Jesus as your savior. (SIDENOTE: I admit that this last sentence is not necessarily the easiest thing to do for some people, me included.) Why don't Christians act a little more Christian? This belief thing is WAY too convenient. Of course, I'm just picking on Christians here. I know there are dicks like these in every religion. Hell, if I thought anyone was reading this, I probably would have just kept my mouth shut. But in case "you" do come by here and get offended... on you.
