I feel humble whenever I realize how much the Cosmos pays attention to me. It never fails to recognize when I stray from my true path. Then It sneaks up on me, and with a well-placed blow to the stomach, fells me to the ground. The bitter taste of the dirt in my mouth reminds me where I belong. I keep down, crawling along, until again I forget. I raise to my knees, to my feet, unconsciously awaiting the reminder.
When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
My dreams aren't empty either...
When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
My dreams aren't empty either...

Thanks for the comment to my journal, it was nice coming from a total stranger. And the joke totally made me laugh
