Waitress, huh? I'll pray for your sanity. Bath stuff and (preferred genre) books seem to be the uniform Mom present, (like power tools and ties are the uniform Dad present)and they always seem to go over well. There's a book they have at Borders (well, Borders down here, but they might have it up there) called Mothers, and it's just a bunch of paintings of moms and their kids. That might work well.If you want to go kinda sappy, here's some stuff.

well it was quite busy at work this week with the local festival going on. i didn't even get to visit anyone that was back oh well the life of a cook is always busy but i did get a little tipsy at the pub and talked to one of my favorite servers that doesn't work where i work anymore
but today i think ill just work on some mix cds for a certain someone
adn maybe send them off this week
