I've been using the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-F717 that my firm purchased recently. Excellent picture quality, and while I just read something about it's bulkiness, I found that the ergonomics were quite pleasing.

work week is almost over...almost...surreal

I need recommendations:

1 - I need to get a digital camera...would like to spend about $300.

2 - I'm thinking of switching from powder to liquid laundry detergent.

My mommy bought me Tide and it works really well. Smells nice!

As for digital cameras, I couldn't recommend a specific model but I'd suggest that you go to a reputable store dedicated solely to selling photography equipment/supplies, even if they are overpriced and you have no intention of buying there. Chances are their employees are not zitty college students trying to push a shitty product line, but instead can provide you with plenty of information and suggestions.

I suppose one of the most key things for you should be ease of use. Make sure that the interface is simplistic. Get someone to guide you through changing the image dimensions, clearing the memory, and setting all the other various features. If this can't be done somewhat intuitively, chances are the camera is a piece of shit.
