I sometimes worry that my sense of humor doesn't translate well to the written word..."did I just piss that person off?"
Well, if I did, I didn't mean to.
I just watched "the Last Detail" on the Bravo channel...this channel claims to be an 'arts' channel, yet they censor everything all to hell. I don't get it. This 1973 movie was pretty notorious at the time for it's liberal use of profanity...all wiped clean away, like Spielberg made it or something. God forbid anyone hear some words like 'fuck' or 'shit'...we all know that mountains will crumble, seas will boil and Bin Laden will win if that happens.
Sorry...I'm tired and cranky....
So...uh...what's your favorite channel? I guess mine has to be HBO right now, since I dig the Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Six Feet Under and Da Ali G Show. And they did give us Mr. Show (but took it away
). Showtime might be a close second with Penn & Teller's Bullshit and Family Business...oh yeah, and VH-1 Classic cracks me up to no end!
