WITHIN 30 MINUTES, my mind was completely blown TWICE tonight, both having to do with cars.

On the way home from work, I saw a vintage Mercedes. But it wasn't like any vintage Mercedes I've ever seen. It had those ENORMOUS monster truck wheels underneath it. Seriously, this thing was at least 4-5 feet of the ground. It was one of the most twisted, fantastic, brilliant things I've ever seen...it just screamed, "yeah, I live in pricy Silicon Valley, but I LIKE AC/DC AND ARENA FOOTBALL TOO!!"

So I get home and flick on the TV set to watch "King of the Hill." A commercial comes on for Toyota Corolla...what's that song playing in the background? HOLY SHIT, IT'S "NEW RACE" BY RADIO BIRDMAN!! How the hell did the ad executives get their hands on that?! I think that freaked me out more than hearing "TV Eye" on that SUV commercial. Sorry, there's NO WAY the corporate world is going to ruin Birdman for me.
