I do not drink beer.

Oh, I like other kinds of alcoholic beverages, but I've never acquired the taste for beer. Maybe it's just the stuff I've (rarely) tried. Even more embarrassing, I don't know anything about it. Yeah, I know it's brewed with water, barely, hops and yeast, but what the hell is:

- stout
- lager
- ale
- pilsner
- porter
- malt liquor

So, educate me. And what's a good beer to try for someone who doesn't ever drink the stuff?

cider is also good, but it can also give you a bad hangover, b/c of the higher sugar content. i personally like to have 'snakebites': have cider/half ale.

i drink it, but i don't know much about beer either, i can only tell you what i personally do not like: guiness (or any of those kinds of beers), steel reserve, budweiser, and natural ice. i drink dos equis (spelling?) or corona mostly when i do drink the beer. i'm more of a fan of merlot and girlie drinks.
