Had a long talk with my boss today...looks like I am going to get laid off, but they're more than willing to work with me on how I go. It probably won't be until the end of June. Letters of recommendation, unemployment benefits, possibly some severance pay...plus, they are willing to pay for some outplacement services for me. Not bad for a small non-profit that is really, REALLY feeling the pinch in these hard times. It's a small office...people really do give a damn about each other there.

The anxiety has waned considerably...it could come back, but I don't think so. I think I might actually be excited about a change...now that I know I'm not going to be fucked by the end of this week with only $700 in the bank. But, if I can't find a job before unemployment runs out...well, we'll see. Aw, I'll live

Since money might be a concern for me soon, it looks like my plans to get a digital camera are on hold. Oh well. I've lived without one for this long.
