Today I was asked to go out to have a drink with a friend , which turned out to be a blind date lol. Well anyway I paid for the drinks and appetizers and after a some talking we got up to leave and I held the door open for the lady I met today only to scoffed at and told " I can get the door myself and please drop the nice guy act, it won't get you brownie points. "

So I ask the ladies or anyone really , if a man is polite and shows he's a gentlemen why shun this and say drop the act? I understand there are a few db's out there that only act that way to get into the drawers .. But there are some of us who are genuine and humble. I'm beginning to think that women of this world don't want what this country boy has to offer... Le sigh 😢😢
