what I've learned my first year at Cranbrook (grad school)

thanks to hanging out with my friends Mike & Violet & their baby Bela, someday I would like to have kids (before it was never even a possibility)

I have the immense capacity to be extremely lazy

as a corrollary to the previous statement: I also have the immense capacity to achieve anything and excell with my weird ideas and drive

just gotta make it happen

I have within me a great resevoir of source material just dying to get out

all the experiments I have done up to this point were merely components and not ends in of themselves

learning to keep my ego/arrogance in check

I'm a very interesting and wonderful member of a community, just let yo freak flag fly

I am a comic book person... its the one thing I constantly read, research, aware of in the field. If only 0.4% of the public is a gallery going one & I've discovered that more people read comics than poetry... that should tell me something.

All in all it has been an informative year. I mainly learned that I do well, just needed the confidence to rock what I got. & pursue my options fully.
