Oh, cool! I can get into the site again, and now I have some friends! (My, my, PaxilPixie my old friend, fancy meeting *you* here. I never realized you were bi, or is this something new? Yeah, we keep strange company-- look what it did to my favorite new roommate!)

What a year this has been. I'm getting close to my flight instructor certification test, and if all goes well I can *finally* move on. Not that my next objective is going to make my life any easier, but at least it'll be something new to work on. All I have to do is to save the helicopter piloting industry from its own success-- since there's such a demand for pilots, the job turnover rate for instructors is so high that virtually every new helicopter pilot being unleashed on the world has gotten all his training from instructors who have less than a year of instructing experience. No wonder accidents are on the rise. Just last week my school lost its 3rd helicopter of the year, where before that they'd only lost one in 15 years of business. And I'm at one of the best schools in the country...

Oh, and my favorite new roommate has gotten back to editing my book. It's a lot easier this time around, but I'll believe she can find any more time in her schedule for it now when I see it...
