Premise for a film:

"A little boy (12 or 14) has a crush on an amateur fashion designer who's much older than he is. An accident happens at the antique shop he works at and some magical ugly kids escape from the garbage pail which imprisoned them.

"After a little social introduction, the kids start working as fashion designers in the basement of the antique shop -- all under the employ of our fabulous fashion designer. Now the antique store kid has an 'in,' and gets to spend lots of time with the girl he has a crush on.

"Unfortunately, a seemingly jealous boyfriend decides that the kids need to be locked-up in some place called "The State Home for the Ugly." It's basically a jail for ugly people that is run by the government.

"With the help of some bikers from a local bar however, the magical ugly kids are freed from their new prison. The antique store kid discovers that the fashion designer he was pining for actually set him up; she used the ugly kids for their amazing skills to further her own career. What a total bitch, right?

"When she finally sees the error of her ways and tries to remedy the situation with the antique store kid, he tells her that she's not pretty to him anymore -- he's talking about on the inside now, in case you didn't know.

"We end with the magical ugly kids riding-off down a street on 4-wheel ATVs. They've left our protagonist with a valuable lesson: good looks and social graces aren't everything, we shouldn't judge people by their appearance, etc."

Can't wait for this masterpiece to get the green light? You don't have to -- just go ask your local video store clerk for Garbage Pail Kids the movie. It just might make you cry.
