just got through watching the movie a.i...
it's such a very depressing film... at least, for me it is. but i found it interesting how in some scenes steven speilberg still tried to emulate stanley kubrick. in sk's films... he always seemed to use light in a very beautiful, subdued way. while also managed to give you the feeling... that something just isnt quite right with the world. that make any sense??? in ai... speilberg seemd to be trying the same trick... but everything was just to sharp... pretty... i dunno. it just isnt sk.
