OH MY GOD!!! I DID IT!!! My hood has a nice little curved barbel in it right now. Woot! It was a strange experience, I used a different piercer this time and I think from now on I'll just wait til my favourite one is around. He was slightly... well, just not as good. He had his two apprentices in the room with him and at first I thought it wouldn't matter but I felt so uncomfortable I had first tell the piercer to stop for a minute and then for the two guys to leave. Piercing is an intimate affair for me. I was proud of myself though for having the agency to say when stuff was not right for me. Go me! Anyway, after that, all was good and it hurt although really only for a second and not nearly as much as my nipples did. And there was very little swelling or anything. I felt nothing afterwards... and still don't!


OK. So, I'll post a pic of it as soon as I can. I should take more pics, my folders are nearly empty.

I got new shoes too!!! They're navy blue skate boarder-esque ones ... But I'd like to point out that I did skate-boarder shoes before they were cool.

So, if you have any piercings, how old were you when you got your first one? What was it? Do you still have it?

I didn't even get my ears pierced for the first time unitl I was 20 1/2... I got 2 lobes and a helix done one day at the mall in a after which an 5 year old took the chair. I've graduated a bit now though... they're so addictive! Argh!
