what a rock n roll weekend. i love weekends like this one. so friday i go to the ken club and get to hang out with stasiastarchild and her friend shellers. on top of that my homie aimee and her roommate laura were there too. of course all 4 ladies were looking as hot as can be which makes me look pretty good. haha The Red Onions and The Heartaches played and what a good show it was. If you have never seen or heard the Red Onions and you live in SoCal you need to go see em. They are seriously one of the best bands out there right now. The Heartaches ripped it up as well and were pretty much on top form. kick ass evening.

saturday i get up early for some reason and that sucks big time. spend my morning making sure i have all my equipment in line for the show. head up early to make sure i catch my friends band The Liquorice Quartet play at 4. i get there and there is no one there and first thing i think is that we won't be playing till super fucking late. However, everyone showed up and the show got started only like 45 min late. not too bad for a all day rock show at a local bar. The Liquorice Quartet were rockin. i really like them. the whole day was kick ass and we rocked out pretty good. I should have some pictures up somewhere soon so you all can check out my new guitar in all it's on stage beauty. :-) Of course my highlight of the evening was getting to see the Red Onions again and getting to hang out with em. Will be setting up some shows with them in the near future for sure. I also got a "promo" copy of the 5 song ep that have coming out at the end of July i think. check em out.
