weekend was good. let's see:
friday i went to guitar center and played a few different telecasters to see if i liked em. amazing guitars but i'm not too into the sound. still thinking i need to get a gretsch. went to my friends show and it was super fun. just majorly bummed i didn't get to talk with my homie amy that much. she kicks ass and rocked brick by brick. good times.
saturday was some hockey on tv, cleaning the house and staying up till 3 in the morning drinking and playing video games. there is something about running over and shooting people while drunk and listening to motorhead that makes everything so damn funny. i need to do that more often.
sunday was even more video game action, as well as hockey on tv. wrote a new song with my singer which was fun. i had come up with a little thing on the guitar a while back and we both just worked on getting a full song out of it. then went to the store to by food and on the way home had one of our songs played on the radio. wahh hoo. then went to the casbah to see the Red Onions (los angeles) and the "demons" (sweden). both bands are great but the red onions are a thing to look out for. ran into amy again at the show but didn't get to talk to her. damn.
all in all it was a really good weekend. tried to stay as active as i could so i wouldn't dwell over this crush i have. i'm a quiet person and i need to just be more open. just a bit bummed out. ohh well, i'll talk to her soon and hopfully we'll hang out sooner than later.
